I drove up to Los Gatos, CA recently and shot some medium format along the way. I love the openness and simplicity that can be found on the I-5. Every time I drive up I’m constantly tempted to stop and photograph farm fields, equipment signs or whatever. I think that being continuously surrounded by fairly new built structures in San Diego has created a longing for the worn out and old. Its similar to driving in an old car or an old bike, something about it just feels right. Oh…the temperature was steadily around 106, that’s not right…its just hot. Read more ›
